Bread is the staff of life. Some bread, though, is not entirely natural. Many loaves sold across the land are full of additives and preservatives. Real Bread Week is run by Real Bread Campaign and is an annual, international celebration of additive free loaves and those who bake them. Good Souls will be dedicating this week to make as many loaves as possible to share the love of the loaf in it's natural, additive free form. As well as regular bread, there will be globally inspired loaves like fougasse, soda bread, pan rustico, ciabatta, baguettes, babka among others.
I have a sourdough starter called Solly (I have become that woman who names their sourdough starter) and currently working on making sourdough loaves. I'm hoping to introduce them next week. I will be posting regularly on here, Facebook and Instagram to let customers know breads that are available. Just give me a shout if you are interested in a loaf or two.
